PSP Games Download | My Full Review

Welcome to my PSP Games Download blog.   Those PSP owners wanting to download games for PSP directly to their Playstation Portable device should definitely read this page.

My name is Andrew and I am a 24 year old marketing consultant from Chicago. Over the past few years the PSP became the main provider of all my entertainment needs. My PSP gets used extensively for playing games but also for watching movies and playing music. Of course to play games on the PSP you would normally have to purchase game disks from a store which can get pretty expensive in the long run.

AllPSPGames is the site that helped me get an almost unlimited amount PSP games. Click for details.

Recently I began taking public transport to work and with that my consumption of PSP games increased dramatically. Sometimes I was buying up to 3 new PSP games per week and my wallet started feeling this extra expense (housing in my area is not cheap so I do have to watch my budget). To solve this little problem I turned to sites which offer psp games download services (these types of sites also offer a psp movies download ability). However finding a good site where you can download PSP games is not easy and I’ve had my share of disappointment before finding what I need. Read this entire page and find out which website, in my opinion, is the best for psp games download.

Those of you who already tried finding a good site to download psp games from, know that these sites are few and far between. Most of the websites that you see peddling “free” psp downloads are actually attack websites that try to install trojans which then bombard you with ads and can even steal sensitive financial information. I found this out the hard way after having to reinstall windows on my computer a few times. On top being infested with viruses and trojans, these “free” sites rarely offer real PSP games and when you actually find a game you want the download speeds can be slower than a dying snail. At the end of the day it is very hard to get anything of value from these places.

I’ve also tried downloading PSP games from P2P networks like bittorrent and limewire with about the same rate of success. Most of these public networks offer fake files and require you to download software infected with viruses to setup these fake PSP games. If you do manage to find the game you want, it’s because you’ve spent a lot of time and effort sifting through all the garbage. Personally, I don’t want to go through all of that trouble for a chance to find a couple of real PSP games.

Then of course there are the paid PSP download sites, which I reluctantly tried after exhausting all other options. The first paid site I subscribed to is called PSPBlender and even with my low expectations this site managed to deliver a disappointing experience. More often than not my download speeds were terrible. At times it felt like I was using dialup internet. Despite their claims of having a huge amount of PSP games for download, I found that their selection was actually pretty small. When you have trouble finding even the most popular recent games on a paid download service there is definitely something wrong. Older games were even more scarce. It took me almost a month worth of emailing back and forth to finally get a refund from these guys.

Before buying into another psp games download site I decided to spend some more time researching the subject. After reading tons of reviews for online psp games download services I had a pretty clear picture of which site is considered to be the best. The site is called AllPSPGames and on top of PSP games it also offers psp movies and psp music download capabilities.

Reading all that positive feedback convinced me to give it a try. The first thing that jumped out at me was the huge variety of games they offer and the snappy download speeds even for older titles. I also tried downloading a few movies in PSP format and that feature also worked like a charm. Using their provided software makes uploading games and movies into the PSP a cinch. For a onetime fee of 35$ I got a lifetime membership at AllPSPGames which I think is a great value considering all the games I download on a monthly basis. When you do the math each game ends up being practically free.

No more headaches for me, hunting around for PSP games and wondering if the file I’ve just downloaded is a virus. AllPSPGames made downloading games for PSP much simpler and easier for me.

Try AllPSPGames and see how good it is for yourself. It certainly helped my getting almost unlimited PSP games.

So you went to Allpspgames and download psp wallpapers onto the computer, but what now?

Here is a set of simple steps that you can follow in order to to download wallpapers to psp (Play Station Portable).

Step-by-step (Windows instructions):

2. Connect PSP to PC with the USB cable.
3. On your PSP go to settings> Go down to USB connection and press “0”
4. Double click on “My Computer” on the desktop and look for a new drive that appears in the list
5. Open up the PSP removable drive and then open up “PSP” folder (if the folder is not there then create one), inside the “PSP” folder locate and open the “PHOTO” folder (if you don’t see it then make it) So the full path in the “my computer” address bar should look like: “drive:\PSP\PHOTO\”
6. Now find that sweet wallpaper and Copy/Paste it to the folder
7. When done, press “X” on your PSP, normally it will disconnect the PSP from the PC (Warning: Do not just disconnect the PSP from the computer, alternatively you can try disconnecting the USB communication by clicking on the little green arrow on the bottom right part of your windows screen and selecting “disconnect USB device”)
8. On your PSP, go to “Main Menu”> Open Photo> Open Memory Stick> Select your Wallpaper and push “0” then press the triangle button and select “Set as wallpaper”. Accept the prompt that asks you if you want to override the present wallpaper.
9. Go to the PSP main menu and Press “X“ it will display your new Wall Paper.

If you are a happy Mac owner and want to download wallpapers to psp then you have to follow a set of instructions that is a bit different from the one above, but everything is essentially the same. Just replace `My Computer` by `My Mac Computer` or something :) The steps from 7 to 9 are essentially the same. To download the PSP wallpaper you can try a couple of different places online, just make sure you are downloading psp wallpaper graphic files and not executables! It`s easy to get a virus if you`re downloading executables.

If you need a descent place to download wallpapers and other cool stuff for the psp make sure to check out allpspgames.com (this is not the place to download free psp wallpaper but free usually equals amateurish quality), so you get what you pay for :)
