My Favorite Game
All kinds of video game systems, like the Sony Playstation Portable and the Microsoft Xbox 360, have released some excellent video games. There are great fantasy games, sports games, military games and everything in between. As well as the games, some of the music of today’s video games are so well done, they belong on an iPod Nano, rather than in a video game.
One of my all time favorite video games is one for the Sony Playstation and the PSP called Medievil.
Medievil is both challenging and addictive. As Sir Daniel Fortesque, you are the main character and hero of the game. And, by the way, you’re also dead. Yet, on the Sony PSP, you come back to life to once again vanquish the forces of evil. It’s a simple premise that has been seen and played on many video game platforms, from Nintendo to the Microsoft Xbox 360. But, for some reason, it really works and works well on the Playstation and Sony PSP video game consoles.
This video game really has it all. The music that’s been developed for this game is definitely worthy of your Apple iPod Nano. Each part of the soundtrack corresponds beautifully with each unique level and area of the game, so that rather than playing a video game, you feel like your actually watching a spooky, scary and gothic movie - with you as the star! The graphics are amazing, and the voiceover work is some of the best that you’ll ever see - and hear - on the Playstation Portable!
There are many big time and big name video games that get all of the hype and the press. And, for the most part, the attention is well deserved, as the more popular games are often some of the best and most innovative titles ever created. But, once in a while, a smaller title gets released that is an absolute gem and soon becomes a cult classic video game. For me, Sony really hit a home run by releasing Medievil, and now that’s it’s available on the Sony PSP, it’s even better than ever!
